Loft
conversions can be anything from a single room within the roof or removing part
of the roof and placing a dormer with 2 rooms and a bathroom. Not all loft conversions
need planning permission, it will depend on the area in which you live and if
you have had any previous building work adding extensions or a conservatory
to the premises.
You will need a set of drawings done to submit to the local building control
office together with the relevant building regulations.
Garage
conversions are an excellent option if you need an extra room for a child, elderly
or disabled relative. You don't always need planning permission for these kind
of conversions however if unsure your local planning office will always be able
to advise you.
This
is a project which is just about to start. It is a shop and it is being converted
into 2 flats. Converting buildings, shops, hotels or large houses into flats
can be a very worth while if you can purchase a property at the right price.
